SOLAR SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We're looking for an honest and confident individual to educate the public on the benefits and importance of solar as an investment. There are no up-front solar-related experience requirements. However, you must be coachable, curious to learn, work well with others, and be patiently persistent.
The Solar Sales Consultant role is responsible for meeting with company provided prospects to educate the customer on solar and the financial/environmental benefits available to them. Across the country there are amazing tax credits and additional incentives to truly make solar an investment opportunity with a strong ROI. We take an honest and confident approach to our sales and don’t look to pressure clients into uncomfortable situations.
The dynamic pace of our company requires its employees to innovate daily. Adaptability and the capacity to respond to rapidly changing business needs is critical. A qualified applicant will be motivated to work in an entrepreneurial setting, and be passionate about green energy and other environmental causes. Excellent business communication and computer skills are a must, as well as high attention to detail and the ability to adapt to change quickly.

Collaborate with the sales team and marketing team to generate and foster leads in order to close sales.
Some leads will come to us, but we like to be proactive with lead generation. Cold calls and participating in events & trade shows are a couple ways we reach our clients

You will have many sales visits. Time and schedule management is key in order to ensure scheduling mishaps do not happen.
Conduct Site Evaluations
Site evaluations help provide prospective clients with solar information as well as help ensure our designs and estimates are accurate.
We take it upon ourselves to honestly and transparently relay solar information to our clients. In order to do that, we need to be up-to-date on the current solar landscape
